Recent Projects

Working with a large construction contractor, the county and state agencies, we managed the dewatering plan and relocation of sensitive Steelhead Trout for the Lambert Lane bridge replacement Mendocino County bridge replacement project. 

We designed and implemented a stream restoration of lower Janes Creek, removing invasive ivy and planting native species to support salmonid habitat.

We conducted sensitive species surveys and mapping for a Sonoma County vineyard wanting to expand their organic grade production area.

We assisted the home owner with obtaining a coastal development permit, developed and implemented a stream restoration project.

We conducted a biological scoping survey to assist the owners of a historic Mendocino coast inn to obtain their coastal development permit to add a large solar a.  

North Coast Biology assisted the property owners in their restoration of this historic timber mill into a productive green house cannabis operation.

We are working with the landowner, construction firm and agencies to develop a plan to repair a landslide into Indian Creek containing Steelhead, coho salmon and yellow-legged frogs.

We've worked with many landowners in Petaluma, Penngrove and Sebastopol assist with biological surveys for minor subdivision permitting of their parcels.
